Northmont Beats Centerville in a Shootout – 41-34

In a highly anticipated showdown between two of the top teams in the GWOC Central, Northmont (6-1, 2-0) held on to defeat the Elks (6-1, 1-1), 41-34.  The Bolts picked off a Will Vance pass in the endzone with 8 seconds left in the game.  It was a game that was tied 27 all at the half, and featured lots of offense.  Elks junior running back Damian Popp had 235 yards rushing and 4 TDs, while TBolts senior QB, Graham Oberer threw for 353 and also had 4 TDs.  Northmont plays Fairmont at home next week, while Centerville stays on the road to play Huber Heights Wayne.
